Creative way to use up those ribbon scraps!

Here is a GREAT way to use up all those scraps of ribbons! Take a piece of scrap cardstock and cover it with strips of double-sided adhesive (or your adhesive of choice...as long as the paper is covered completely). Our cardstock was approximately 4.25"x5", so we had enough to make 2 cards.

Cut random pieces of ribbon and lay them across the paper. Trim the ends that hang over the edge of the paper. Cut the paper in half lengthwise (so you have enough for 2 cards).

Pretty it up with your favourite stamps, papers, and embellishments!

Happy Stamping!

Here is another card we made during one of our Card Club nights.

This is a "Faux Leather" technique using masking tape and then blotting on 2 or 3 different colours of ink with a sponge to give it demension and texture. Then we dipped it in clear embossing powder and used the heat gun to give it that extra bit of shine to make it look even more like real leather.

The cute little dog was stamped and coloured in wih markers and matted, then some brads, ribbon and buckle were added to finish it all off.

This makes a great masculine card and was a great hit with the girls!
