Summer by the Sea

Here are a couple cards made using Stampin Up's now discontinued "Summer by the Sea" set (loved that set!), but the technique can easily be used with any stamps. The effect does work especially well with the 'line drawing' type images like this though.

Remember: Stamping is not just for cards!

Here is yet another example using the Fifth Avenue Floral, this time on a scrapbook page!

Fifth Avenue Floral

I just LOVE the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. The images are gorgeous and it is so simple yet versatile. Take a look at these cards we made during Card Club (as well as the 2nd and 3rd ones which were made by my friend, Jan Garrett). All use this same set but each one has a completely different look or 'feel' depending on the technique that was used...

Deal of the Week: Week 3- Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware

This week's deal of the week (July 20-26th) is the Styled Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware at 30% off!

In a hurry and need a quick card?

If you're ever in a hurry and need a quick yet beautiful card (only you know how little time it took to make it!), Stampin Up's line of "Notes" notecards, a background stamp, and a punch come to the rescue!

These little notecards come in a pack of 15 and are already pre-cut with the design on the front. The one we used here is called "Fresh Cuts" but there are 2 other sets available as well. All you have to do is grab a background stamp (here we used the "Bella Toile" background stamp), the 5-Petal Flower Punch, and decorate it however you wish, and within a few minutes you have a beautiful card!

Here is a card we made using the "Pocket Silhouettes" stamp set. I really miss that Baja Breeze paper from the previous line of In Colours....but I also LOVE the new In Colours as well!

Dormant List

The new "dormant list" is available! This list contains stamps that are not shown in any of Stampin Up!'s current catalogues, but are still available for sale.
If you have a stamp set that you had been coveting from the old catalogue but don't see it in the new catalogue, just check the dormant list, it just might be available still!

You can access the list by clicking on the link below, or else on the sidebar down the right hand side of this blog.
